You're all familiar with Ave Maria, right? Well here's it's bigger, better younger brother - Ave Maria Reconquista. This dark, stately handmade combines an oily Brazilian Habano Oscuro wrapper with a densely flavorful blend of Cuban-seed Nicaraguan long-fillers to create a bold, intensely complex profile. Notes of espresso, pepper, oak, spices, hearty tobacco, cocoa, and toasty-sweet finish are noticeable. The strength is readily apparent, and even more so towards the second half. The end result is a top-shelf, masterfully blended handmade that will leave you feeling fully satisfied yet craving another. Impressive, no doubt, this is one fine cigar.
